Ms. Romy Saitowitz
Chairperson
Ms. Saitowitz brings to the board extensive expertise in health policy and programmes, monitoring and evaluating development programmes and fundraising and resource mobilisation. Ms. Saitowitz holds a Masters in Child Health from the University of Cape Town (1999) and a Certificate in Fundraising Management (2004). Ms. Saitowitz founded the PositiveMoms Foundation in 2005.

Dr. Catherine Orrell
Vice-Chairperson
Dr. Orrell brings to the board extensive expertise in managing community-based HIV/AIDS treatment programmes. Dr. Orrell holds an MBChB (hons) from the University of Cape Town (1992), a M.Med in Clinical Pharmacology (2005) and a Diploma in HIV Management from the SA College of Medicine (2005). Dr. Orrell is currently employed as a Site Investigator at the Desmond Tutu HIV Centre where she overseas a large-scale ARV Drug Trial. Previously, Dr. Orrell worked as the Clinical Coordinator for a community-based antiretroviral project in Guglethu, Cape Town. Dr. Orrell has published extensively on anti-retroviral therapy in South Africa.

Ms. Rolene Miller
Secretary
Ms. Miller brings to the board a wealth of experience related to nonprofit management and women's issues. Ms. Miller established Mosaic 10 years ago, an organisation that provides healing, rehabilitation and skills development for abused women. Mosaic community workers and representatives now do work across 30 communities. Ms. Miller was a finalist in the Cape Times/V&A Waterfront 2003 Woman of Worth awards.

Dr. Jennifer Pitt
Vice-Secretary
Dr. Pitt brings to the board extensive expertise in managing community-based HIV/AIDS treatment programmes. Dr. Pitt is currently employed as the Principle Investigator at the Desmond Tutu HIV Centre at the University of Cape Town. Dr. Pitt is responsible for managing a large-scale Comprehensive International Programme for Research into HIV/AIDS (CIPRA) study. Dr. Pitt is also a Mentor for the Southern Cape ARV rollout programme and has extensive experience related to community antiretroviral therapy. Dr. Pitt holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Cape Town (1996). Dr. Pitt is currently completing her Masters in Public Health.

Ms. Kirshni Totaram
Treasurer
Ms. Totaram holds the position of Head of Institutional Business at Coronation Fund Management in Cape Town. Ms. Totaram holds a BEconSc (Actuarial); FASSA; FIA and joined Coronation Fund Managers in June 2000. Prior to joining Coronation, Ms. Totaram worked at Metropolitan Life as Head of the Aids Research Unit. Ms. Totaram has extensive experience managing funds and overseeing financial investments.
